Apartment Description - Line 3

This line provides three pieces of information to assist you with the location of the apartment.

The three pieces of information are (1) building number, (2) whether or not the apartment is up or downstairs, (3) directional information about the orientation of the apartment.

(1) Building numbers listed are the official UF building number for an apartment.  You can type that number into the search box on online UF CAMPUS MAP and you can see the exact location of the building.

This procedure will work for every village except Tanglewood.  For Tanglewood, you must use the building number that we provide (shown here in orange) and type the corresponding purple number in to the search box.

2901 = 539
2903 = 527
2905 = 528
2907 = 529
2909 = 530
2911 = 532
2915 = 533
2917 = 535
2919 = 536

(2) All Graduate and Family Housing apartments are either upstairs or downstairs.  This is because all Graduate and Family Housing apartment buildings are two stories (levels).  The only exception to this are Tanglewood Townhouse apartments.  These apartments have both an upstairs and downstairs level.

(3) Directional information is provided for each apartment.  What this information means depends on the apartment village being discussed.  NOTE: All directional information are approximations.

Diamond and Corry - The direction indicated is the side of the building the apartment is on.  Most of the windows are on this side.

Maguire and UVS - The direction indicated is where the front of the apartment is located.  Usually, the kitchen and the living room areas.  The bedroom(s) will often be on the opposite side of the apartment.

Tanglewood - Because of Tanglewood's design, the direction indicated will be the general location of the apartment within the complex.  Usually, at least some of the windows face this direction.
